Beginning October 10 th, 2008, the Catholic Cathedral of New Orleans, Louisiana will host a large exhibition of terra-cotta sculptures. Javier Morales is well known in the USA where he is well known as the Commissioner of the large Art Exhibitions of the Prado Museum and of the Royal Palace of Madrid that Spain has taken to this country since 2001.
In fact, it is in Louisiana, LA, that as Commissioner Javier Morales presented the exhibition “The Heart of Spain” in 2003, in the Museum of Art, Alexandria, LA. In 2006-07 he presented his own terra-cotta sculptures in this Museum. Also Javier Morales collaborated in several exhibitions with the NO Collection and its Museum.
Now, the sculptor Javier Morales returns to Louisiana but with his own terra-cotta sculptures for their exhibition and sale to the public in New Orleans. ©Javier Morales.
